Recently, the array heat storage device of the first 300MW advanced compressed air energy storage national demonstration project of Shandong Feicheng International, jointly developed by the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and China Storage Guoneng (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Storage Guoneng"), was installed, and the project heat storage subsystem entered the commissioning and operation stage.
The construction scale of this project is 300MW/1800MWh, and it has been included in the public list of "New Energy Storage Pilot Demonstration Projects" released by the National Energy Administration, as well as key projects and energy storage demonstration projects in Shandong Province. Through the construction and operation of the project, we will effectively accumulate experience in the construction and operation of large-scale compressed air energy storage power stations, which is of great significance in promoting industry technological development, accelerating the process of technological industrialization, and guiding the improvement of industry policies.
Heat storage technology is a key component of compressed air energy storage systems and has a significant impact on the overall performance of the energy storage system. The 300MW advanced compressed air energy storage system array heat storage device developed by the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics and the R&D team of China Energy Storage Corporation adopts original and efficient compact heat storage and exchange technology, overcoming technical difficulties such as low temperature difference, small pressure loss, variable operating conditions, and array control. The single volume of the heat storage device reaches 8000m3, and the total heat storage capacity of the heat storage array reaches 8.3TJ. The designed heat storage efficiency is over 99%, with high efficiency and high heat storage density Advantages such as good economy, safety and stability.
