Recently, after four students from the 2021 Sino French Mathematics Talent Class at the University of Science and Technology of China were admitted to the Paris Polytechnic University, students Wang Yuan and Zhu Yuhui from the class were admitted to the Mathematics Department of the Paris Higher Normal University (hereinafter referred to as "Paris Higher Normal University") with excellent grades. Students from the Sino French Mathematics Talent Class have been admitted to the Mathematics Department of Paris Normal University for three consecutive years. In the past three years, Paris Normal University's mathematics program has only admitted 12 international students worldwide, including 5 from the Sino French Mathematics Talent Class at the University of Science and Technology of China.
In October 2023, the University of Science and Technology of China, along with the Paris Mathematical Foundation and the Jacques Adama Mathematical Foundation, renewed the cooperation agreement for the Sino French Mathematical Talent Class at the Henri Poincar é Institute in Paris. The renewal agreement is valid from January 2024 to December 2028. According to the agreement, in addition to independent admission and application for quotas, China and France jointly sponsor 9 outstanding graduates to pursue further education in French universities every year.
