On May 20th, the official WeChat account of Jiangqi Group announced that the luxury intelligent new energy vehicle jointly developed by Jiangqi Group and Huawei is about to be launched. "The product name for Huawei's cooperation with Jianghuai has not been determined yet, and it may need to be a million level, very high-end (model)," said Yu Chengdong, Huawei's executive director and chairman of Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU.

"We benchmark far beyond the Maybach and Rolls Royce Phantom categories, being more luxurious, high-end, and comfortable than them. Jianghuai (partnering with Huawei) is positioned as a super high-end model." Yu Chengdong said.

Regarding the cooperation between Huawei and JAC regarding products, a reporter from "Daily Economic News" called JAC Automotive on May 22, and the relevant staff replied, "At present, we have not received any news about new brands and products. The specific situation is subject to the launch of the final product."

It is worth mentioning that the stock price of Jianghuai Automobile has risen in response. As of the close on May 22nd, the stock price of Jianghuai Automobile has surged for two consecutive trading days. On May 21st, Jianghuai Automobile's stock price rose as high as 9.37%, closing with a 6.49% increase; On May 22nd, the highest increase reached 8.8%, closing with an increase of 5.6%.

Public information shows that the cooperation between Jianghuai Automobile and Huawei began in December 2019. At that time, the two sides signed a Comprehensive Cooperation Framework Agreement and MDC Platform Project Cooperation Agreement, planning to deepen cooperation in areas such as intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, intelligent electric, intelligent networking, and cloud services.

However, in the nearly four years since the signing of the Comprehensive Cooperation Framework Agreement and MDC Platform Project Cooperation Agreement, neither party has disclosed any new progress in cooperation. Until the end of last year, both sides began to enter the substantive cooperation stage.
