Photovoltaic cells are transported smoothly in the equipment;One production line after another,running intelligently in the workshop...This is the production scenario of the first phase of the 15 billion yuan total investment in the Atlas New Energy Industrial Park project.As of the end of last year,the first phase of the project had been in operation for over 4 months,achieving a production value of 600 million yuan and invoiced sales of 560 million yuan.
"At present,we are producing at full capacity.In order to meet the demand for orders,we have arranged an overtime production schedule during the Spring Festival period to ensure timely delivery."Zhu Yanqin,the administrative manager of Yangzhou Ates New Energy Holdings Co.,Ltd.,introduced that all of the company's products are sold overseas,and the third phase of the project is expected to achieve annual sales of 60 billion yuan and annual tax revenue of 1.2 billion yuan after reaching full production.
What is the secret of Artes when orders are full?
"The edge length of the battery cells we are producing is 210 millimeters,which is the largest size battery cell in the industry,"said Zhu Yanqin.The larger the size of the battery pack,the higher the fragmentation rate and cost during the production process.By leveraging its technological reserve advantages,Artes has organized specialized technical forces and collaborated with relevant universities to carry out technological breakthroughs,greatly reducing the fragmentation rate.
"Solving the problem of large-sized fragments and reducing production costs is just the first step in seizing the market,"said Zhu Yanqin."The battery cells we produce are exactly the products advocated by the country to be produced using new technologies."
The first phase of the Atlas large-sized battery cell project adopts TOPCon technology.Zhu Yanqin pointed to the battery cells on the production line and introduced that TOPCon technology is an advanced solar cell manufacturing process.Currently,the mainstream TOPCon batteries use N-type silicon wafers.Compared with P-type batteries on the market,N-type batteries have unique advantages such as high conversion rate and low attenuation rate."The theoretical conversion rate of P-type batteries is 25%,while the theoretical conversion rate of N-type batteries is 28%,and the actual maximum is 26.5%.This new product produced by Yangzhou Ates has lower costs and better benefits,and is favored by the market."
Artes orders are full,but technology is actually providing support.On the fourth floor of the Ates office building,technicians are busy.The reporter learned that the Yangzhou Atlas Technology Research and Development Center has been put into operation,with more than 100 R&D personnel.Two R&D production lines and one product pilot line have also been put into use.
It is reported that the first phase of the Atlas project produces 14GW of photovoltaic chips and 14GW of solar cells,the second phase of the project produces 14GW of modules and 24GW of new photovoltaic materials,and the third phase of the project produces 10GWh of energy storage cells and energy storage systems."Artes will build a full industry chain project for optical storage in Yangzhou to achieve vertical integrated production management,"said Zhu Yanqin.
