On October 13th,21 papers published in the American journals Science,Scientific Progress,and Science Translational Medicine published and elucidated the most comprehensive human brain cell atlas to date.The series of studies involving scientists from multiple countries has revealed the characteristics of over 3000 types of brain cells,which will help to gain a deeper understanding of the uniqueness of the human brain and advance research on brain diseases and cognitive abilities.

  It is reported that the above research is part of the National Institutes of Health's"Promoting Innovative Neurotechnology Brain Research Program-Cell Census Network",which was launched in 2017.The published paper is the result of a series of collaborative studies conducted by hundreds of scientists using the most advanced molecular biology techniques.Scientists say that this study provides valuable information for understanding the structure and function of the human brain,which will contribute to further research and clinical applications.It represents a significant breakthrough in the scientific community in unraveling the mysteries of the brain,opening up new directions for future neuroscience research.
