On January 6,the Chengdu Institute of biology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences held a public science popularization activity,which provided an opportunity for primary school students in Tangyuan primary school,Pidu District,Chengdu,to have an in-depth understanding of garbage classification and disposal.
  During the activity,students participated in the small class of environmental protection theme popular science,watched 3D animation"garbage monster",and participated in the interactive experience of garbage disposal process.The activity made the students enhance their environmental awareness in a lively and interesting atmosphere.
  This research activity is part of the"scientific inquiry plan for source classification and comprehensive treatment of domestic waste"implemented by Chengdu primary school,where Chengdu Biology is located.The plan has been implemented since February 17,2023,and is committed to improving teenagers'scientific and technological literacy and practical ability.Chengdu Institute of biology makes use of its disciplinary advantages to deepen students'understanding of environmental protection and scientific knowledge through practical teaching methods.This plan is supported by the Sichuan Provincial Science and technology training project"training on source classification and comprehensive treatment technology of rural domestic waste".
