At the beginning of the new year, the fifth season of "Science Open Class" has arrived as scheduled! The fifth season of the course will be broadcasted on the internet at 8pm on January 30th, welcoming students from all over the country to watch the live broadcast and welcome the new year in the world of science.
Science Open Course is a pure public welfare, fully open science education series of courses jointly created for young people. How do we discover black holes? How to improve creativity? What are the three poles of the Earth? What scientific knowledge is involved in looking in the mirror? What if an asteroid impacts Earth The 16 scientists invited for this season's science open class will answer each question one by one.
This season's Science Open Course fully considers the needs of teachers, students, and parents, keeping up with the forefront of technology in content, and keeping up with social hot topics and daily needs. It has set up four series of courses: human decoding, searching for the stars in the sky, searching for the secrets of the earth, and spiritual dialogue. From brain memory to human immunity, and then to medical imaging research on human health; From distant black holes to near Earth planetary meteorites, and then to the latest lunar soil research; From climate change to earth travel, and then to the secrets of ancient ceramics left by humanity; From mental health to scientific brain use, and then to the excellence of life through creation. Scientists from different fields will impart scientific knowledge, stimulate young people's interest in science, and also convey the spirit of science, providing useful supplements to the school-based teaching system. In addition, the public can leave comments and provide feedback on doubts and questions through media platforms during the viewing process, and scientists will conduct live broadcasts to answer questions.
This season's Open Science Class will be held at 8:00 p.m. every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from January 30 (except New Year's Eve to the sixth day of the lunar calendar), at Learning Power, People's Daily client, Xinhua News Agency, Voice in China, Central Video, Science and Technology Daily, China Youth Daily, China Science News, China Education Television, China University Online, Beijing Radio Television, Tiktok, Bilibili, WeChat video number, Sohu Media&Sohu Video, Youku Video Media platforms such as Tencent Video, Zhihu, Baijia, Kwai and Xiaohongshu broadcast live simultaneously. After the live broadcast, the public can watch the course videos on the special page of "Science Open Courses" on the China Science Popularization Expo website.
