On April 16, more than 200 teachers and students of Yuquan Primary School affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences entered the Institute of Optoelectronics Technology under the guidance of scientific instructors to participate in scientific education research activities.
During the event, the Institute of Optoelectronics set up a science popularization report titled "Chang'e Lunar Exploration". During the visit, the students visited the spirit education base for scientists at the Institute of Optoelectronics and listened to touching stories of generations of optoelectronic people fighting bravely. In the scientific exploration experience section, the Institute of Optoelectronics arranged a scientific exploration course called "Laser Alarm", which introduced the basic knowledge and application of lasers, as well as the principles and applications of telescopes. They also led students to create laser alarms and experienced astronomical telescope observation experiments.
This activity enriched the cultural life of the students and enhanced their abilities to think independently, learn actively, and be good at discovering.
