The main problems affecting users to choose new energy vehicles are inconvenient charging,range anxiety,and low cost-effectiveness.As a provider of power domain solutions and charging network solutions,Huawei Digital Energy believes that in urban areas,every 1-2 kilometers radius,in all highway service areas and gas stations,it is necessary to accelerate the construction of high-quality charging infrastructure mainly based on overcharging and fast charging.Through"wide coverage"and"ultra fast charging",the charging problem can be solved and range anxiety can be alleviated.
With the increasing maturity of third-generation power semiconductors and high rate power batteries represented by silicon carbide and gallium nitride,electric vehicles are accelerating their development towards high-voltage overcharging.The comprehensive high-voltage transformation will move from B-class and C-class vehicles to A-class and commercial vehicles,further enhancing the competitiveness of electric vehicles.At the same time,car companies have also accelerated the pace of listing 800V high-voltage models.It is expected that by 2025,there will be more than 150 high-voltage ultra fast charging models on the market.Huawei Digital Energy integrates digital technology and power electronics technology to provide innovative high-voltage platform solutions for enterprises,helping to continuously enhance the competitiveness of vehicles.In 2023,Huawei DriveONE released a 900V high-efficiency high-voltage electric drive platform and put it into mass production,achieving a 5-minute power replenishment of 200 kilometers.In the future,the time for energy replenishment will be further shortened,and power assisted vehicle companies will move towards high pressure.Huawei Digital Energy,as an independent Tier 1 supplier,adopts a flexible cooperation model and has cooperated with more than 10 domestic car companies to carry over 50 vehicle models on board.
Hou Jinlong stated that the charging network should be positioned as a"new urban infrastructure",and the industry is currently at a turning point towards high-quality and sustainable development.It is necessary to accelerate the construction of a future oriented high-quality charging target network for different application scenarios,shifting from pursuing"vehicle to pile ratio"to pursuing"high quality".In service areas and gas stations such as highways and national highways,large-scale layout of high-power overcharging is needed;Realize megawatt level overcharging in dedicated scenarios such as public transportation,logistics,and mining;Create overcharging circles within 1 kilometer in urban public charging scenarios;Promote DC slow charging and intelligent and orderly charging solutions in residential areas and other residential scenarios.
"At the same time,we need to enhance the interconnection and interoperability between the charging network and the power grid,as well as the Internet of Vehicles,and promote the green coordinated development of multiple fields such as sources,networks,loads,storage,and vehicles."Hou Jinlong introduced that for this purpose,Huawei Digital Energy will bring the"one second,one kilometer"full liquid cooling supercharging solution,work together with partners,and through three major actions,build high-quality charging infrastructure mainly focused on supercharging and fast charging:in more than 50 cities such as Beijing,Shenzhen,and Chongqing,Accelerate the construction of a"city network"and promote the development of the industry towards a high-quality model;Build a high-quality"overcharging network"with over 20 highways,and increase the deployment of ultra fast charging infrastructure in high-speed service areas to ensure worry free long-distance travel for new energy vehicle owners;We plan to deploy supercharging stations along the 318 Sichuan Tibet Supercharged Green Corridor and build a green,low-carbon cultural and tourism corridor.As of now,overcharging stations such as Ya'an,Litang,and Daocheng have been put into operation.
